The LD system online is also very helpful, as you can update it and your instructor can view it to. Karl helped me to book a test quickly by looking for a cancellation. The LDC workbook is very useful and demonstrates each element of the driving in detail, I used it before and after every lesson. At the end of the lesson, Karl encourages you to grade each part of the lesson from 1-10, which clearly highlights your progression. He also suggests different ways to approach situations, in order to let you decide which is the best option for you. He will also ask you to pull over to discuss a diagram over a complicated roundabout/ manoeuvre, prior to doing it to give you a better understanding. This helps you understand and learn from your mistakes.īefore a lesson, he checks what you would like to do / improve upon during the lesson, and plans a route / lesson in advance to maximise drive time. Karl uses an effective teaching method, asking you what you think we should do / should have done, to improve the situation, rather than telling you the answer. Karl always made room in his diary for me and ensured I could take my lessons around my busy work schedule. He fully reassured me before I drove into the test centre, and I passed with only two minor driving faults.
I’ve gained so much confidence driving with Karl and felt completely prepared for my test.
He will not only teach you to pass your driving test, but teach you to become a good driver. Karl is friendly, and a great listener, whilst ensuring discipline on the road to help you to become a safe driver. He is a great motivator and makes good jokes to make you feel relaxed. He’s optimistic, patient, understanding and professional.
